Travel Alerts -- Westin South Coast Plaza Hotel

For those of you traveling in Southern California, we want to warn you about the decline in service of one of our favorite "deal" hotels, the Westin South Clast Plaza. We have logged in 30 days in this property over the last three years. We've always liked it for its great location, Heavenly Beds, and Starwood points. No one bothered to tell us this time when we made our reservation that the property was under construction. The AC system has failed in the record-setting temperatures we're experiencing out here. Worst of all, we were up all last night due to the drunken celebration of our fellow hotel guests. Worst of all, hotel security was entirely ineffective at resolving the problem. I'd take this one off of your list for now.
